Xavier Institute of Polytechnic and Technology (XIPT) was established in 2010 at Namkum, Ranchi by Xavier Institute of Social Service (XISS) Ranchi. It is the first diploma level institute established by the Ranchi Jesuit Society in Jharkhand. All the courses offered by XIPT are approved by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi and XIPT is affiliated to Jharkhand University of Technology, Jharkhand.
