Announcement of Skill Development and Computer Science Courses by Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai, India

Greetings from XIPT!

We hope that you are safe in this pandemic situation. While students across the country are struggling with their regular curriculum due to the current pandemic situation, IITBombayX-LAKSHYA' programme has come up with a comprehensive program for the students with various 'Skill Development' and 'Computer Science' certificate courses in ONLINE mode that will help them sharpen their interpersonal and communication skills at workplace while solving real world computational problems in the corporate world. These courses will be Open for All.

There are a total of 10 courses from 15 July till 15 November 2020. The learners are free to choose any of the below as per their areas of interest. There are two categories of courses:

Get Early Bird Registration discount till 31 July 2020. Early bird registration fee is Rs. 325 for each Skill development course and Rs. 375 for each Computer Science course.

From 1st August 2020, the fees for each Skill Development course is Rs. 375 and each Computer Science course Rs. 475/-

Certification:

Successful learners will get a certificate from IITBombayX on completion of the course

Methodology:

All the courses will be conducted in a Self-paced mode. Self-paced allows the learner to learn at their own pace anytime and at any place convenient to them before the course end-date. The learner needs only a PC/laptop with an Internet connection. There will be 24/7 support to the learner on the Discussion Forum that would allow them to ask doubts and questions, which will be clarified by the course teams.

Please share with your colleagues and friends irrespective of organizations so that people can utilize the lock down more efficiently by adding more skill sets to their credit.

Last Date to fill up the online application has been extended by J.C.E.C.E.B., Govt. of Jharkhand till 25/07/2020

Greetings from Xavier Institute of Polytechnic and Technology

Please be informed that the last date for filling up the online form for appearing in the Competitive Entrance Examination has been extended till 25/07/2020. Those who could not fill the same must not miss this opportunity. 

Xavier Institute of Polytechnic and Technology (XIPT) was established in 2010 at Namkum, Ranchi by the Ranchi Jesuit Society. The same society manages other renowned educational institutions in the state - Xavier Institute of Social Service, St. Xavier's College, St. Xavier's School, St. John's School etc.

XIPT offers Diploma in Engineering in the following courses:

1. Mechanical Engineering - 120 Seats

2. Electrical and Electronics Engineering - 120 Seats

3. Electronics and Communication Engineering - 60 Seats

All the above courses are approved by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi and affiliated to Jharkhand University of Technology, Jharkhand.

The candidates, who wish to take admission in the above said courses have to appear in the Entrance Examination conducted by Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board, Government of Jharkhand.

However, the candidates without having appeared in the said Competitive Entrance Examination may also take admission through SPOT ADMISSION against vacant seats.

For 2020-2021, J.C.E.C.E.B. has already announced the dates for filling up the Online Application Form, which has been extended till 25/07/2020.

J.C.E.C.E.B. has two categories of admission schemes for Diploma in Engineering:

(1) 3-Year Program - For admission in First Year. This is for 10th Board pass out candidates.

(2) 2-Year Program (Lateral Entry) - For admission in Second Year. The eligibility criteria for this scheme is Intermediate with PCM or vocational subjects/ITI
